This position is responsible for ensuring the control of documents used in a regulated testing environment.

Essential Job Duties

Fully competent in performing all document control duties and may perform any combination of the following tasks:

Document Management

  • Perform the process of internal document revision/approval/publication.
  • Process, route, and send-out testing instructions to sponsors to obtain approval for testing.
  • Work with internal clients to ensure their document control needs are met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Know and follow applicable regulatory requirements (GMP, GLP, ISO, etc.)
  • Know and follow company policies and procedures

Professional development

  • Complete required training on time


High School diploma or equivalent as well as two year applicable training or experience or an Associate's Degree.

  • Attention to detail
  • Proofreading skills
  • Ability to follow written instructions
  • Ability to type, including 10-Key
  • Legible handwriting
  • Must have verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to multi-task and be self-motivated
  • Time management- must be able to respond to voicemails, emails and other communications in a timely manner.
  • Internal and external customer service skills
  • Computer skills: knowledge of Master Control, Microsoft Office, email and internet usage.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Ability to take on additional tasks/assignments as needed
  • Regular and reliable attendance

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand/walk for 20% of the day and 80% sitting at a desk or at the computer. Must be able to occasionally lift a minimum of 30lbs.
