Summary

The Account Receivable Representative ensures service and responsiveness for Nelson Laboratory clients. It includes fielding customer calls and building customer relationships through excellent communication. This position will also focus on daily operational support for invoice processing and client account maintenance and general AR reports.  

 

Essential Job Duties

Section Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls from clients with high energy and positivity.
  • Ensure first-answer service and responsiveness for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and provide proactive solutions.
  • Communicate status updates to clients with ongoing communication regarding testing including technical details of our testing services.
  • Guide clients on how to use Nelson systems effectively
  • Assist with Customer Loyalty Program
  • Daily invoice processing
  • Customer Account maintenance including invoice reconciliation process and payment disputes.
  • Maintain integrity of client sales and account contact information.
  • Payment Application
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Know and follow applicable regulatory requirements (GMP, GLP, ISO, etc.).
  • Know and follow company policies and procedures.

Professional Development

Complete required training on time.

Education

At least 18 years of age, High school diploma or equivalency. Customer Service Experience and any accounting training and certifications preferred.

 

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are a representative of those that must be met to perform the essential job functions.

Must be able to remain in a stationary sitting/standing position at a desk while using a computer monitor and keyboard, computer mouse and telephone 90% of the day and move/traverse, bend and twist 10% of the day. This position does not require heavy lifting greater than 45lbs.

 

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, keyboards, computer mouse, phones, photocopiers, projectors and file cabinets.
